Mike Cassano currently teaches Economics and U.S. History at Rosemount High School and is in his 7th year of teaching. Mr. Cassano attended St. Olaf College where he got his BA  in Social Studies Education. He also received two minors in Economics and History. He obtained his Masters in Education from St. Mary’s University. Mr. Cassano coaches 9th grade volleyball and is the assistant varsity hockey coach. He currently lives in Lakeville with his wife and son Ryan.

Sara Hatleli  is in her 10th year of teaching math at Rosemount High School   received her Bachelor of Science Secondary Mathematics degree from Minnesota State University, Mankato.  She then attended Saint Mary's University of Minnesota and earned her Master of Education degree.  Ms. Hatleli is in her 10th year of teaching math and coaching at Rosemount High School.  Her husband Jay is also a teacher at Rosemount High School.  They live in Rosemount with their 2 year old daughter Kenna.

Brian Trussell teaches Advanced Placement and Honors Chemistry at Rosemount High School and is in his 5th year of teaching.  He earned his BA in Biology from Gustavus Adolphus in 2005, his MA in secondary instruction from St. Mary’s University in 2007, and is currently a PhD candidate with a concentration in gifted and talented education.  His dissertation is focusing on self-regulated learning theory.  Brian was named a TIES Exceptional Teacher in 2011. Mr. Trussell coaches football and track at RHS. He is also the head weightlifting coach. Currently he lives in St. Paul with his wife.

Tim Wahl is in his fourth year of teaching math at Rosemount High School. He is currently teaching Geometry and Honors Algebra II.  Tim graduated from Augsburg College in 2007 with a degree in mathematics and a license in secondary education.  He has earned his Master’s degree in Education through St. Mary’s University. Tim coaches J.V. baseball at Rosemount High School as well as football.  Tim and his wife Lisa,  live in Rosemount, MN.
